PEMA is a registered non-governmental organisation, founded in December 2013 and operating in Kosovo. PEMA stands for inclusion, education, well-being and future. PEMA also means tree in Albanian. Working through specialist day care centres, PEMA provides community based social services to some of the most vulnerable children in Kosovo. Ensuring holistic care to the child, PEMA has built strong relationships with national government, local municipalities, local non-governmental organisation, schools, parents and the children benefiting from our services.
PEMA’s mission is to ensure that children living with disabilities and other special needs in Kosovo have access to services that enable them to live a fulfilling life.
PEMA provides family services to care and support children with disabilities and learning difficulties, as well as their parents.
