There are as many as 20,000 children with disabilities and special needs in Kosovo who do not have access to essential services. Our mission is to ensure that some of these children receive the specialised support and care they need to reach their potential. Since 2013, PEMA has cared for and supported over 600 children and their families in four municipalities in Kosovo.
At PEMA, we understand the individual needs of each child and young person that we support. We tailor activities, enabling us to personalise the services. Through group and individual sessions, Centre Coordinators and Case Workers provide a wide range of psychosocial, educational and recreational activities to children and young people in the centres.
“I enjoy being here, I would like to come every day because I have a lot of fun and feel very good.”
